The Inline table range represents the future-oriented design language of the Wilkhahn work environments. Inline – drawn up under the working title „Monolithic Table“ – reminds of a filigree altar of communication with its extremely integrated design. The conference table was created with two design aspects in mind. Viewed from a little distance – for example when entering a room – the observer will see a highly aesthetic, sculptural, unusual and impressive object. When you get closer and take a seat, the table literally recedes into the background. The frame tapering towards the centre of the table and the bevelled table edge automatically invite you to move closer to the table and use it as unobtrusive stage for the upcoming communication. The Inline range is designed with table widths between 160 and 220 cm and table depths between 80 and 120 cm. Industrial series production is expected to start in the second quarter 2019.
